DESCRIPTION/ QUALIFICATIONS

Oversees and assures the set up and operation of the Machine shop including tool and die making. Includes recommending design changes in equipment, material and/or procedures as needed. Develops machine shop procedures in coordination with company standards and objectives. Periodically checks machining operations to ensure operations are working to tolerance. Maintains a reporting system that reflects schedules, performance and procedures. Makes budgetary recommendations for capital expenditures and manpower for the machine shop area. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operatoin of the function.

• Bachelors Degree and or Equivalent Machine Shop Supervisory Work Experience 5- 10 Years.
• Five plus years in supervisory, manufacturing machine shop environment.
• Supervises: Hourly Machine shop employees.
